Morning Announcements for 3/28/25 Raider Rundown - Daily Edition for 3/28/25 Show Transcript good Morning Red Raiders welcome to the Daily edition of raider rundown here are the announcements for Friday March 28th 2025 I am lit and I'm Lauren today is an A Day With periods 1 through 4 today's lunch is turkey with gravy mashed potatoes oven roasted zucchini fruit cocktail craziness and a whole grain roll Monday's breakfast will be bagel with cream cheese applesauce and diced pears just a reminder Mr Greg Anderson's period 6 class has lunch due today a total of 6 students must report to the cafeteria 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the Lunch Period attention all teachers and students the food pantry distribution will be held today March 28th during morning recess in 35 attention on 9th 10th and 11th graders we will be offering an early bird fee collection for the school year 2025 to 2026 you may pick up a form and make a payment in the main office starting on Tuesday April 1st Early Bird collection payments must be received by April 30th 2025 no late payments will be accepted thank you attention all students who registered for early college math if you did not attend the informational meeting please see Mrs higashi or Mrs taba as soon as possible you will need to see the number 1 sign and turn in the early college agreement by April 17th number 2 complete the uh system application 3 set up a uh username for computer dual credit form contact Mississippi go or Mrs taba with any questions attention in all key clubs we will be having a general meeting today March 28th during lunch in the upstairs Library please notify your pod leaders if you're unable to attend attention all seniors do you want to show your involvement in our school and community please scan the QR code was it to fill out the nollie makukuha form this is a point system to keep track of your sports clubs community service student government and awards the top 25 students with the most points will receive a war award and recognition at graduation the form was also sent to your school email thank you attention all bus riders today is the last day to submit an application for a fourth quarter bus pass if you have yet to submit an application please do so in the main office by the end of the day only cash money order or cashier checks are accepted no personal checks after today no paper or online applications will be accepted this applies for both paid and free Status writers mahalo special congratulations to Lucy Blanchard and Colin Franks who won this year's stem Works Hawaii t-shirt design contest at mask out secret design with over 500 individuals wearing and using their designs it is pretty impressive when this Monday and Tuesday 12 of our readers and 5 teachers represented our school at the stemworks Hawaii conference on Oahu here's a special week that video to share with you the experience the Hawaii stem conference presented by stemworks unites 45 schools across Hawaii to explore their future instead whether you're a mentor or student stomach provides a safe place for you to feel inspired engaged innovative and empowered we are so pleased to have nearly 500 people here between teachers industry professionals and of course our students stem careers are going to be changing so quickly in our young people's future they I need to understand critical thinking they need to have the self-confidence to continue to have lifelong learning and they need to know that they can do anything stem enables them to be Global things ERS while looking at things and using stem to create solutions for our challenges here at home ranging from breakout sessions to competitions summertime activities for everyone showcase your passion project at the exhibition playground or check out the diversity of stem Pathways with the help of local employers our project is based on 1A and turning it into as many projects as we can I get to learn a whole bunch of computer science and see different types of Technology my personal project is a new model thank you for restoration project where we take the Genki balls and throw them into the new mer River to try and clean up the sludge I did a lot of projects on um like ocean um conservation so hopefully we can use them to better our oceans and keep our lands clean network with industry Professionals in a small personal setting learn from experienced Keynote speakers from Somers alumni to successful entrepreneurs positively influenced My Life by providing a safe space for youth to come together and network and grow with 1 another this is an amazing event who are so many inspirational kids venues in Hawaii and so being able to see them you know work together and Learn and Grow is truly an inspiring future of collaboration and growth these are your announcements for today have a great day
